FAQ's

Will a lift kit chew through my tyres?

Not if it's installed correctly. A lift done badly causes premature tyre wear because the alignment and suspension geometry get pushed out of spec. We adjust everything that needs adjusting so the vehicle drives properly and tyres wear normally.

How big a lift can you fit?

We commonly fit 35mm to 75mm lifts on utes and 4WDs, which covers most practical use. Larger lifts (100mm and above) generally require engineering certification and we'll talk through the implications before booking.

Will a lift kit affect my insurance or registration?

It can, depending on the size of the lift and your vehicle. We fit engineered, road-legal kits and can advise on what requires VicRoads certification or insurance notification. If your lift needs a certificate, we'll point you to the right engineer.
